Plain truth is, we generate too much trash! Excessive packaging, 'throw away' mentality and run-away consumerism are all contributors to the environmental crisis we see looming on our horizon. If we want our children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren to have a healthy planet on which to live, we need to change our ways of thinking!
We can do our part to help in a thousand little ways and it can be approached with creativity and fun. It can be a part of life and I hope to share and exchange ideas for that way of thinking here. Easy ways to repair or reuse clothing, crafts using trash items and even ways to conserve energy and resources will eventually be some of the topics.

Yikes!
Obviously, I still haven't figured out how to include illustrations in the posts very effectively. Slightly surprised it came out as well as it did after all the tinkering I did without a clue as to what I was doing! lol
